Association Laboratory to Present at ASAE Great Ideas Conference in Florida
Chicago, Illinois, March 6, 2014 – Cecilia Sepp, Vice President & Client Operations Officer, Association Laboratory, will co-present with Trevor Mitchell, CAE, Executive Director, Member Programs and Services, ARMA International, on March 10, 2014.
The presentation, "The Future of Component Relations: A Strategic Conversation" will present findings from the Association Laboratory white paper, The Future of Component Relations, a qualitative study exploring environmental factors and needs for best leveraging component relationships within the association. The study was conducted in partnership with the ASAE Component Relations Council.
Strategy must support the overall mission of the association, and successful associations strike a delicate balance between strategies that support overall organizational goals and strategies that support component goals. This session will assist association executives in better understanding the value of components and how to work with components to build a stronger organization that meets the needs of today’s teeming marketplace.
"Today’s fractured marketplace looks more like a kaleidoscope than a mosaic," Sepp said, "because it is constantly changing into something else. Associations need to explore and then apply the best strategies for positioning all their resources to successfully support their mission."
