Association Laboratory to Present at ASAE MMC Conference in Washington, DC on Global Membership Model
Chicago, Illinois, May 22, 2013 – Dean West, President of Association Laboratory will co-present with Alfons Westgeest, Managing Partner with Kellen Europe and Julie Koch, Vice President of Member Relations with the Produce Marketing Association on Tuesday, June 4 at 2 pm at the ASAE MMC Conference.
The presentation titled The Future of Global Membership Models summarizes the key points from Association Laboratory’s recent white paper on global membership models identifying the issues facing associations and key success factors in global membership strategy. In addition, Ms. Koch will provide information detailing how the Produce Marketing Association applies these principals in real world situations and Mr. Westgeest will outline how these principals are applied in different parts of the world and for different types of organizations.
Dean West is a nationally recognized expert in association research and strategy. His is a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives. He authored the chapter on Membership Research for the ASAE book, Membership Essentials and the chapter on Marketing Professional Development Programs in the ASAE book, Core Competencies in Professional Development. Mr. West is Past Chairman of ASAE’s Professional Development Council and has served on the ASAE Membership Council and the Board of Directors for the Association Forum of Chicagoland.
