Association Laboratory to Present at 2013 ASAE Annual Conference on Building and Managing Association Consultancies Strategy
Chicago, Illinois, July 1, 2013 - Cecilia Sepp, Vice President of Association Laboratory, Inc., will present as part of a panel discussion on the topic, "The ABCs of Establishing and Managing a Flourishing Association Consultancy." Ms. Sepp's co-panelists are Richard F. Dorman, FASAE, CAE, President/CEO of the Catalyst Group of Alexandria, and Patty Leeman, President, Leeman Consulting Services, LLC.
The presentation will take place on Sunday, August 4, 2013, at 1:30 pm in Atlanta, GA, as part of the ASAE 2013 Annual Meeting.
The presentation, designed by consultants for consultants and those interested in consulting, will share advice on establishing and managing a vibrant consulting practice. A variety of topics such as marketing, financial management, and RFPs will be addressed. In addition, the importance of ethics in the association consultant community will be emphasized.
Ms. Sepp is a nationally recognized expert in association management and a long-time consultant. She contributes to the profession as a frequent author and speaker through the ASAE Annual Meeting, Great Ideas Conference, Membership, Marketing, and Communication Conference, and ASAE publications. She recently authored the chapter on Components & Strategy for the ASAE Component Relations Handbook. She was a member of the professional faculty of ASAE University for six years (2006-2012), leading online courses on component relations, supervisory management, marketing, and leadership.
