Association Laboratory Team Members Named to Association Forum Committees
Chicago, Illinois, July 10, 2012 Ė In June of this year, Dean West, FASAE, President, and Philip Puckorius, Vice President of Association Laboratory Inc. were named to 2012-2013 leadership positions by Association Forum of Chicagoland.
West was named to the Annual Meeting Working Group; the members of this group collaborate with Association Forum staff to plan the annual meeting. Held annually as part of Association Week ó a weeklong celebration of the association management profession ó the annual meeting attracts more than 400 attendees every year. The Working Group makes recommendations on annual meeting content and programs and annual meeting networking activities, ensuring a positive networking experience for attendees.
Puckorius serves as Chair of the Forumís Content Committee. This Committee works collaboratively with Association Forum staff to review and update Association Forumís educational strategy, and to identify, analyze and recommend potential educational products. It recommends revisions, updates and amendments to Association Forumís educational strategy based on organizational goals, market and membership research, industry trends and guidance from the Association Forum Board of Directors. Based on this information, the Committee also recommends potential educational products, recommends strategies for creating a complimentary suite of SIG and non-SIG programming, and develops educationally-focused scenario plans to proactively identify potential changes in Association Forumís marketplace.
